Clearly there are people who
benefit both emotionally and physically and metabolically from T3 even
though it has been shown clearly and unequivocally that they do not have
a problem with diminished production of thyroid hormone.
I had one particular patient
that diuresed and her blood pressure dropped after one cycle and her blood
pressure remained improved for about three months.
For years Gynecologists have
treated infertility empirically with T3 when failures occurred. And they
often saw good results even though I know very well that those were not
hypothyroid people.
There is a body of literature
and experience outside of Wilson that supports the use of T3 in euthyroid
patients, namely that of Gynecologists and Psychiatrists. They will tend
to to be the greatest supporters because they've done it, and there's
nothing like doing it to see it.
