I can tell a difference from taking both Adaptogen and your Thyrocare. I was able to step down from 3 grains of compounded thyroid medication to 1/5 grain, and now I am completely off thyroid medication.....I don't know if I can permanently remain off thyroid medication, but I had much rather take your natural supplements for thyroid and adrenal support than take an artificial or natural thyroid medication. The body can heal itself if it only has the right tools! Thanks for great products. I had tried other thyroid support products before, but yours is the only one that worked for me. I think the other key was the adrenal support that worked synergistically with the thyroid support supplement. Sincerely, Rachel C.

Thank God I have an M.D. who cares enough about his patients to find out what it really takes to make them better!! I went to him with various symptoms about 3 years ago - and he followed your recommendations. I'll tell you, it saved my life! I was just turning 50 and felt like I didn't have a future. With the diagnosis of Wilson's Syndrome - and about 2 1/2 months doing the handling - I had a new life. Thank you so much for your research. Gloria M.

Obviously, 98.6F is the standard normal temp. should I expect my the WT3 protocol to acheive a temp of 98.6 throughout the day, or does the temp fluctuate some. If fluctuation is ok, what are the standard limits to this fluctuation. For example, my first temp of the morning (on T3) remains to be somewhere about 97 to 97.4 which increases over the day to 98.6. Is this alright or should I try to have a 24-hour temp close to 98.6? Thank you. LMP., TX

Dear LMP, The temperature does normally start out lower in the morning and then it goes higher in the afternoon and lower in the evening. It does fluctuate as well. Therefore, we suggest that patients begin taking their temperatures 3 hours after they wake up, take them 3 hours apart, 3 times a day, and take the average. Digital thermometers tend to fluctuate especially when their batteries are low. It's best to try to measure the temperature in a similar way every time it's measured (for the same amount of time, in the same part of the mouth, with as little movement as possible). Some patients' temperatures may fluctuate more than a degree during the day and they may feel fine. However, the wider the temperature fluctuates the more likely patients are to have symptoms of unsteadiness. Taking the medicine carefully on time is another way to minimize fluctuations. We recommend shooting for an average temperature of 98.6 during across those 3 daily temperatures...even though the waking temperature and late evening temperatures will often be lower. Warmly, Denis Wilson, MD

Is your therapy appropriate for Hashimoto's Thyroiditis?

It's what I'd do if I had Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. I would use the WT3 protocol if I had a low temperature plus ThyroCare and Healthy Foundation as described at the bottom of this page. Best regards, Denis Wilson, MD

After experiencing severe WTS symptoms for 4 years, my doctor put me on the WT3 protocol and many of my symptoms went away. However, after about 5 weeks my heart started racing and at 6 weeks my heart rate hit 100. At that point I could barely function. I stayed off of the T3 about 6 more weeks until my heart rate settled down and I felt better. My doctor was reluctant to put me back on it and suggested the herbal meds ThyroCare, Adaptogen and Healthy Foundation. I have been on them about 3 weeks and don't see the improvement I had hoped. What do you suggest?

Increased heart rate can come from unsteady T3 levels. Sometimes a T4 test dose can be very helpful at such times. In addition, Many patients find that their pulse rates stay within the normal range when they are taking Cardiac Px Titrate. and / or Cardiac Px Capsules while on the WT3 protocol. Cardiac Px Titrate and Cardiac Px Capsules are sold only to doctors. Your doctor can order them and get more information about how to use them by calling 800-420-5801. Of course, though 100 beats per minute doesn't sound terribly fast, being able to "barely function" doesn't sound good and might suggest you and your doctor may want to consider the possibility of an underlying heart problem. For example, your doctor could arrange cardiac stress testing (off the WT3 protocol) to see how well you do. Best regards, Denis Wilson, MD
