I ordered ThyroCare and Healthy Foundation. To be perfectly honest, the Healthy Foundation tasted so bad I only took it once, but continued with ThyroCare...which also tastes bad but it's a capsule. After a couple of days I started having less fatigue. Some days I felt better than others. I decided maybe I should try the Healthy Foundation again. I mixed the drops with about a tablespoon or 2 of orange juice so I could take it quickly and then follow with just orange juice. Almost immediately I started having much less fatigue and would wake up feeling rested. I've gotten used to the taste and since it has helped me so much, I would take it regardless. I wake up in the morning rested and have been able to get to work earlier. On the weekend I used to spend all day Saturday in bed and would never feel rested. I found I need to take the supplements as close to 12 hours apart as I can. Then, I really feel pretty "normal" whatever that is...I don''t really know. I'm thinking about adding Adaptogen to the mix and see if that gives me a further boost. Some days I feel awesome...better than 100%. I just want more of those days.++ I think your products are great. Thanks.

Yes, Healthy Foundation can have a strong taste. Mixing it with juice the way you did is a great way to go. Also, you may find it much more palatable if you boil / evaporate off the alcohol. You can do this in two ways. First, you can add the H.F. to boiling water in a cup and stir (most of the alcohol will evaporate). Second, you can put all the H.F. you have in a small pot. Make note of how deep the liquid is. Add enough water to roughly double the volume. Then simmer the mixture until it has evaporated down to its original volume. If you remove the alcohol you will need to store the H.F. liquid in the refrigerator from then on. Best regards, Denis Wilson, MD

I'm making real progress that has been elusive for ten years. I am sure that my temperature and symptoms are responding to the WT3 protocol. I just finished cycling off for 5 days (because of a bee sting) and my temps are in the mid 97 range and my symptoms are returning . Thank God for this therapy and the people who are trying to spread the news. I've certainly been encouraging people with undefined maladies to just check their average body temps, it's noninvasive and there's nothing to lose. I am reading the book written by Dr. Wilson and am totally amazed. It's like reading about myself. Thank you, Michael

My thyroid hasn't functioned for over 30 years. I have been on Synthroid for all of this time. Unfortunately I have all the symptoms of Wilson's Temperature Syndrome. There is no doctor near me. My question is would just taking the ThyroCare help, or what other product would you suggest? My temperature is consistently around 96.6. Thank you for your time. Sue

Dear Sue, Some patients that are not feeling well on Synthroid do notice feeling better with herbs alone, some feel better with WT3 alone, and some feel better with both. Some patients feel better on ThyroCare alone. Depending on your symptoms you might also consider Adaptogen and/or Healthy Foundation.++ Best Wishes, Denis Wilson, MD

I would like to know if all compounding Pharmacies are able to make this product. I have a compounding pharmacy near where I live. How would I go about getting the information to them? ......I also wanted to ask if all timed released T3 is the same. Thank you, Killerkelly

Dear Killerkelly, Yes they are all permitted to do it, but not all are capable or equipped or experienced at making it. It's a little like painting a picture. Almost anyone can paint a picture, but fewer have the experience and skill to paint a masterpiece in beautiful detail. Sometimes patients that are not doing very well on the WT3 protocol can begin feeling much better when they switch pharmacies. Because of differences in techniques and methods, formulas are not readily transferrable. Ideally, pharmacists should fine tune their own formulas based on feedback doctors give them based on hundreds of patients. That is difficult to accomplish for pharmacists that have only made the T3 for a small number of patients. The pharmacists at Medaus have been making the T3 medicine for thousands of patients for hundreds of doctors for over a decade. You can click here for more information. All timed released T3 is not the same. Not only is technique important but so are the ingredients and sustained release agents that are used. Warmly, Denis Wilson, MD

How do I send this page to my patients when I judge they need to read it? By Email? Patricia Coghlan, MD

Yes, In person you can simply give them this simplified web address: wtsmed.com If you know their email address and are planning to email them you can go to any page of the site and select and copy the URL (address that looks like http://www.wtsmed.com) in the address bar and paste it into an email and it will become a clickable link for them. If you plan on doing this on a regular basis, you can make it easier on yourself by dragging the icon just to the left of the address onto your desktop. This will create a shortcut you can click on at any time to quickly open up the page so you can copy the address (this process is often easier than looking for a bookmark in your favorites folder). If it's a Newsletter, you can forward it in it's entirety or just copy and send the link the appears near the top of every Newsletter. We also have Patient Orientation Sheets that you can order in volume to handout to patients. Hope that answers your question, Denis Wilson, MD
