Because of your website, I have found a doctor in my area that treats hypothyroidism and WTS. I had been on Synthroid for over 25 years. I was always cold. My temperature would be 95-96. I have never done well on Synthroid. It was divine intervention that I found your supplements, and went on to find a doctor to help me. I am now on T3 and doing great. Thank goodness for your help.

I'd like to respond to Felicia's question about low white cell counts [from last week's Newsletter], hypothyroidism, and Wilson's Syndrome. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's hypothyroidism about 15 years ago, and given Synthroid, which helped not at all. I started the T3 therapy almost five years ago and my low white cell count of 20 years came into the normal range within six months. It's still normal, and I'm still on the T3 therapy, at a pretty high dose (60 mcg twice a day). Thank you, Dr. Wilson!

The last time I wrote, I had been taking the ThyroCare and Healthy Foundation in a very small amount of orange juice. I'm now very used to the taste. Last week I ran out of juice and tried it with a small amount of wine...even better! I was afraid to try Dr. Wilson's suggestion of heating the Healthy Foundation to alter the taste because I was afraid I would do it wrong, and it's far too valuable to risk ruining it...although I greatly appreciated him taking the time to respond. I ordered the Adaptogen a couple of weeks ago to see if it would enhance the "good" results I had already received. I could tell a significant improvement after the 2nd day. I had struggled for the last 4 or 5 years with fatigue. No matter how much sleep I got I never felt rested, much less energized. I generally spent all day Saturday in bed and most of Sunday afternoon just so I could make it through the next work week. Your supplements totally changed all that. I used the say, "the hardest thing I do everyday is get out of bed." Now I'm awake and ready to go between 6:30 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. Instead of needing a minimum of 9-10 hours of sleep a night, I get 7-8 and feel great all day. I'm so grateful to my doctor, Dr. James Biddle/Asheville Integrative Medicine, for referring me to your website. All of my thyroid tests came back "normal" even though I've had a goiter for at least 15 years. Adding the Adaptogen to the ThyroCare and Healthy Foundation gave me consistent results everyday. We just bought a new house and this past Saturday I started painting around 9:00 a.m. and stopped around 9:30 p.m. After church on Sunday I started again around 3:00 p.m. and stopped about 8:30 p.m., so I could pay the bills and do the check book. I was still going strong until about 10:30 when I finally got tired and went to bed. This morning I was up at 6:45 a.m. and ready to go. I am so grateful for your supplements. They absolutely changed the quality of my life. I would strongly encourage anyone with the symptoms you talk about on your web site to try them. It took several months for me to get to the level of results I've received, although I started getting improvement within a couple of days of starting the program.++

Thank you so much.

Question & Answers

I have read numerous times about the help those with Fibromyalgia have received. I was wondering ... Is there also a connection and/or help for Polymyalgia and WTS?

Lisa

Dear Lisa,

Muscle soreness and stiffness can often respond well to normalization of body temperature patterns. It is often hard to be certain what is causing a particular patient's symptoms. Patients with Polymyalgia typically have muscular soreness and stiffness, patients with muscular soreness and stiffness often respond well to normalization of body temperatures. Perhaps there is some overlap between Polymyalgia and WTS or perhaps it's sometimes hard to tell them apart?

I have been on Synthroid for over 20 years and can honestly say that I seldom have a day that I actually feel well. I've been checking my temperature and it runs from 96.9 to 97, occasionally 98. I also suffer from Fibromyalgia and have been plagued with this condition for many years. If I were to try your products would I stop taking my Synthroid medication? I'm really feeling desperate for some help!

Susan from MA

Dear Susan,

You can try our products while taking Synthroid and you might feel better. For some patients not feeling well on Synthroid herbal supplements will not be enough. Some such patients will respond to weaning off their Synthroid for a time and being treated with the WT3 protocol. Of course, regulation (changing, starting, stopping) of thyroid hormone medicine should always be done under the supervision of a physician.

Best wishes for you finding some help,
Denis Wilson, MD

I have read your material from cover to cover and am being treated with T3. It has been working well although I realize that it will take several cycles. I notice that nowhere does it say to take with or without food. Does that mean it's not food "sensitive"?

Thank you
Pam B.

Yes Pam,

The T3 is not affected so much by food as it is by it not being taken correctly on time.

If you click here

you can find the following statement:

It is much more important to take the T3 therapy very much on time than for it to be taken on an empty stomach (which might provide a little more consistency in the dosing conditions from dose to dose). For this reason, I do not instruct that the medicine should be taken on an empty stomach because when such counsel is given, patients will frequently miss their dosage times by hours at a time trying to accomplish it.

Kind Regards,
Denis Wilson, MD
