I feel like a miracle has come to me. I am now on my third month of T3 therapy and feeling so good.

I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and have suffered extreme fatigue and low body temps for the past 20 months. I gained 20 pounds in a very short time and could hardly function at all for about 5 days out of 7. Now that I have been taking the T3 I have noticed such a huge difference, words alone could not express. I used to have days when my body temp average was 97 degrees and now I am up there at 98.4 and feeling on top of the world. I still haven't been able to lose any of the extra pounds, but I have my life back again. I also take Adaptogen and Healthy Foundation, and they make such an incredible difference. I highly recommend those to anyone who feels as bad as I did. I can now function as a normal person again, which is wonderful. I used to be so fatigued that I hardly had the energy to talk, and now I go around singing all the time. I feel so wonderful, Dr Wilson, and it's all thanks to you. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.++

Yours Sincerely,
Rae,
Tucson, Arizona

I have seen one of the Doctors on your list and I am happy to report my temp has apparently stabilized at 98.6 after just one cycle of the T-3.

I have told everyone I know about this including my daughter who is a physician. I own a large dental office with 6 Dentists and I am getting the word out to our patients. Thank you so much! I had been misdiagnosed with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. My body is healing itself and I am feeling much better.

Sincerely, Darlene S.

The ThyroCare supplements are wonderful! I noticed an immediate difference in feeling warmer. I've been taking T3 for 6 months and couldn't wean below 30 mcgs. I've followed Dr John Patterson's [in Virginia] order to take 30 mcg along with the ThyroCare for a month, and then try to wean, and tonight I start. I will let you know if the weaning is successful, in about a week's time.

Thanks,
Ali W.

Yes, many people have found that the ThyroCare helps them wean off the T3.

Good luck,

Question & Answers

I developed low thyroid (high TSH, low T4, but normal Free T3). My doctor measured thyroid antibodies and these were elevated in the hundreds. It was felt that this auto-immune condition is what is responsible for my thyroid decline. Does the Wilson therapy treat patients with thyroid antibody induced thyroid dysfunction?

Jim, PA

Yes Jim,

Thyroid antibodies often go down in patients on the WT3 protocol alone. We've also seen them go down in patients on ThyroCare alone. But we believe that using the the WT3 protocol along with the ThyroCare will enable a lot of people to get great results at reversing thyroid antibody induced thyroid dysfunction.++

Best wishes,

I've referred my daughter's pediatric endocrinologist to your website. She said she couldn't find anything relating to young children using this method (my daughter will be 4 in October and was born with hypothyroidism). Is this method safe for young children?

Thank you very much.
Susan

Dear Susan,

I've treated patients as young as 10 years old and other doctors have treated patients 6 years old and younger. The WT3 protocol is managed very much depending on how patients feel before and especially during treatment. Therefore, I feel it is perfectly reasonable to treat patients that are old enough to effectively communicate how they feel in relation to treatment. In such cases, parents should be responsible for administering the child's treatment (monitoring temperatures and administering the doses). Nevertheless, some physicians might feel comfortable administering the treatment in patients that are even younger basing the treatment primarily on physical signs such as body temperature and pulse. From a safety standpoint, T3 is normally found in the body already and is usually well tolerated. The WT3 protocol calls for starting with small doses and increasing gradually in stepwise increases. This is done for safety and it provides an opportunity to see how well the patient responds to the medicine. Also, children tend to require and tolerate well more thyroid medicine than their weight might suggest.

Your doctor can feel free to call 800-420-5801 for a free consultation with a doctor regarding your daughter's specific case.

Best wishes,
Denis Wilson, MD

I have been having itchy, crawly skin. My eyes, ears, nose itch the most. Is this related to low body temperature or could it be something else? Does low body temperature make you more prone to candida?

The symptoms you describe could be due to allergies, particularly if you notice that they tend to come and go in a seasonal pattern. Interestingly, patients with low temperatures sometimes experience allergy symptoms that resolve with normalization of their body temperatures.

Itchiness can be a symptom of low body temperatures and low body temperatures do seem to make some people more prone to candida.

Warmly,
Denis Wilson, MD
