Success Stories

I am on my third course of Adaptogen and ThyroCare and have felt a real improvement. My dosage is one of each in the AM and one in the PM. I've experienced a weight loss of over 15 pounds, without really trying! My energy level has been much better and my temperatures have been reaching 98+ almost every day. When it reaches 98.6, I have a really good feeling of general well being. (Whenever this feeling comes over me, I take my temperature and find it is 98.6!) It's almost euphoric....

So, the theory that the normal body temperature is necessary for one to feel well is right on. I have been taking Synthroid for over 30 years and have always had a body temperature in the area of 95-96. Hopefully, the day will come when I no longer need the Synthroid.++

Sincerely,
Lois

I want to pass on to Dr. Wilson that a wonderful Naturopath that has studied with him has been treating me for over a year, and if not for her I don't know where I would be. Her name is Dr. Nasha Winters in Durango, Colorado. I can't say enough good things about how my life has improved because of Dr. Wilson's treatment and all the time he takes to teach his therapy. He is wonderful, and she is a life saver and has so much knowledge pertaining to this condition. I can't thank either of them enough, especially Dr. Winters for her patience. They are the best.

Sincerely,
Angela M.

I am happy to report that for the first time in 2 years my body temperature was normal last month. Thank you for your T3 advice and for great doctors like Dr. Gilbert Manso who practice good medicine so faithfully.

Question & Answers

I recently was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and was prescribed Synthroid. How does someone find a doctor who is familiar with T3 Therapy? And how can I get T3 Therapy if I don't have a doctor in my area who is familiar with it?

Thank you,
Cherie

Hi Cherie,

You can look for a doctor on this List of WTS Physicians.

If there is not a doctor already in your area you can introduce the protocol to a doctor who is. Most of the doctors on the list have found out about it through their patients. This Patient Guide will help you learn how to go about using this CD to inform your doctor. The Doctor's Manual is freely and instantly accessible to your doctor online as is the Patient's Book. Your doctor can order the medicine from Medaus Pharmacy. The pharmacists there have extensive experience with supporting physicians and patients that are new to the protocol. In addition, your doctor can call us at WTS at 800-420-5801 to make an appointment with a doctor to discuss any aspect of the protocol.

In short, there is extensive support available to doctors to enable them to learn about and begin using the treatment this week.

Best wishes,
Denis Wilson, MD

I recently had saliva test results which indicated that my adrenal response to stress is poor, and supplementation with DHEA or pregnenolone was recommended. However, I have many of the symptoms of Wilson's Temperature Syndrome. My body temperature varies between 95 and 97 degrees, and I would like to try WT3 protocol. Will this help with the adrenal problem, or will I need to take DHEA/Pregnenolone as well?

Paula,
UK

Dear Paula,

The different facets of the endocrine system are interrelated. Adrenal support can sometimes improve thyroid symptoms and the WT3 protocol can sometimes improve adrenal function. Some doctors like to give adrenal support because they feel it helps patients better tolerate the WT3 protocol. On the other hand, other physicians prefer treating with WT3 first because they believe it usually corrects adrenal symptoms to the point that adrenal support is often unnecessary.

It is true that some patients with low adrenal function don't tolerate the WT3 protocol very well. That can only be determined by trying and seeing. It is a judgment call as to whether patients try to strengthen the adrenals before trying the WT3, or trying the WT3 first to see if adrenal support is necessary. As a matter of course, our inclination is usually the latter, but both approaches are quite reasonable.

Nevertheless, extreme caution should be exercised in patients with frank Addison's disease (severe adrenal insufficiency that shows up on tests). That is a situation noted for its risk of adrenal crisis with thyroid medicine.

Kind regards,
Denis Wilson, MD

Please tell me if my parathyroid can be affected by Wilson's Temperature Syndrome. I was diagnosed with hypoparathyroidism and was wondering how this relates to my condition of WTS, if at all?

I have come to believe that a low body temperature can potentially affect the function of almost any part of the body. Nevertheless, I've never seen a case of hypoparathyroidism come on with the onset of a low body temperature, nor have I seen such a case respond with normalization of the body temperature (I haven't treated such a case). Therefore, I'm not sure how it relates to your WTS, if at all.

Best wishes,
Denis Wilson, MD
