Amazingly, I have already noticed a difference in my overall energy level, digestion, and hair and skin quality. Previously, I was fatigued a great majority of the time. Now, I feel more alert and less tired. Also, I have always had a problem with constipation. Since taking ThyroCare, I have had regular bowel movements. Also, my hair and skin use to be dry and scaly. I've already noticed that both seem less brittle and it appears healthier because it is not so dry. pills are easy to take and the dosage is easy to remember. Also, I have no "burping" after taking the pills (they digest well).++

I'm on my second round of T3 and have finished my first week of holding for two weeks at 75 mcg per dose...I feel fanatically better!!! I have at least two inches hair growth when it hasn't grown since more than five years ago. I have baby hair growth along my entire hair line and can see more standing up throughout the top of my head. I still am fighting acne from week to week, but far less than before. I have regular bowel function restored to my great relief!

Question & Answers

Is it normal for persons with WTS to lose their hair on their arms, legs, underarms and eyebrows, or is this a low thyroid problem?

Thanks,
Margie in S.C.

Yes Margie,

WTS can cause the same exact symptoms as low thyroid gland function. We believe that the symptoms are brought about by low body temperatures which can be brought about by either WTS or low thyroid gland function.

I have Graves' disease (hyperthyroidism). I am presently taking ThyroCalm Px and Adrenal Px LoBP. I realize that it will take time to correct my thyroid problem, but are there any success stories for hyper-functioning thyroid gland after taking your products? I need hope that I can save my thyroid.

Thank you,

Yes, here's one:

"After taking the herbs to calm down my blood pressure, palpitations, and overactive thyroid I don't feel hyper at all anymore. My regular medical doctor told me that it is not possible to treat hyper-functioning thyroid gland without either taking it out, or nuking it with radioactive iodine. It has been six months sice I started taking the herbs, and I still have my thyroid and now there is no reason for me to destroy it. My blood tests and EKG are all much better!" ++

I have been taking the T3 for 6 years. I am not one of the ones who has been able to come off of it BUT I function sooo much better than I did on the Armour or Synthroid meds. Recent blood tests showed perfect TSH, normal T3 (at 30 mcg. twice a day) and low T4 (expected due to plenty of T3). I also have the antibodies but on the T3 I rarely have any symptoms.

My question is: I am a recently diagnosed adult-onset type I diabetic (antibodies there too). Can I still try the ThyroCare to hopefully cut down on the thyroid antibodes even if I'm on insulin?

ThyroCare is not known to have any effects on insulin levels. But as a general measure we recommend that you discuss all of your health plans with your physician (who, incidentally, is free to call us at 800.420.5801 to make a free appointment with a physician to discuss your case).

Best regards,
