I and my husband started on the supplements together on the day we got them in the mail. Within days we felt more energetic and were sleeping better and more. To date we are just continuing to feel better on a daily basis and get along better. I was to the point of being ready to start divorce proceedings as husband was just not communicating at all and was so distant and unresponsive. I now have a lot more of the husband back that I have known for 25 years. Peggy

I am just now beginning to feel some great results. I have been taking ThyroCare, Adaptogen and Healthy Foundation for about 3-4 months. I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and have been on Synthroid for about 3 yrs now. And all my life my body temperature has been in the 97's. Before taking your supplements I was feeling very fatigued, depressed, and unproductive at work and home. I just didn't feel like myself. My doctor kept telling me that according to my blood tests that my thyroid levels were fine. So I was feeling very lost because it seemed like my doctor and my wife just didn't believe me when I talked about my symptoms. And the symptoms have been getting worse this last year. Most days I just don't even feel like getting out of bed. It seems like a major chore just to get dressed and drive to work. And after working at a desk all day, I would come home completely exhausted. I could barely get off the couch to eat dinner. But now I am starting to get some great results. Almost all of my symptoms are gone. My wife and co-workers think I am a brand new person. And I feel like I am the same person again that I was 20 years ago in college. I finally feel alive again!!!++ Thanks, DB - Dallas, TX

Is it a problem to take the [WTSmed] supplements within an hour of taking my Synthroid? Thanks for the wonderful supplements, and a great, informative website.

It is not a problem at all. People can take WTSmed supplements at any time. They can be thought of as specialized food. Best wishes, Denis Wilson, MD

Are there any restrictions in taking ThyroCare when pregnant? Thanks, Ben Z. Adamstown, PA

Dear Ben, Many doctors would feel very comfortable using ThyroCare during pregnancy (while not exceeding the recommended dosage on the bottle). However, one should always check with one's own doctor before taking anything during pregnancy. Warmly, Denis Wilson, MD

Can you have this disease if your temperature doesn't change from 98.6 for a 3 day period, yet I have the symptoms you describe? Thanks, JJ

Yes JJ, It's quite possible that your thermometer is inaccurate. You may want to check your temperature with several others. I've had many patients with past medical histories that were classic for WTS but their temperatures were "normal." But when they checked with other thermometers the temperatures were found to be low and the patients responded very well to treatment. Of course, it's also possible that something else is causing your symptoms. Finally, I have heard of instances where doctors had patients whose temperatures appeared to be 98.6 and the patients responded well when treatment raised their temperatures to 99. It's a little hard to say if this was due to inaccurate thermometers or due to the patients actually being 99 degrees and feeling better (very sophisticated temperature equipment and measurements would be needed to tell for sure and that was not done). I would suggest checking your temperature with other thermometers.
