T-3 is most definitely the answer. What has it done for me? The depression lifted and for the first time in years I have been sleepy at night and wake up in the morning. My temp runs normal at times. I am going to order the Doctor's Manual. Finally after all of these miserable years something is really working. I'm surprised and elated. I hear things will even be better. Heather PS -- And I have tried EVERYTHING, too.

As prescribed by her doctor my wife has been using ThyroCare for a few months along with T-3 therapy. In the three months between her blood tests there was a decrease in the antibodies to her thyroid. Her doctor was not willing to say the above therapy was responsible for this change, but said something we are doing is obviously helping. We are continuing with this treatment and I will keep you informed of any changes in her condition. Thanks for your product. Sincerely, Ben Z.

I am so thankful that the supplements are now available on the website. I was treated for a short time with the WT3 medication under a doctors supervision, but we moved and there are not any doctors in our area that treat WTS. I have been very good about remembering to take the supplements everyday. I feel the information provided for each supplement was easy to understand and follow. Since I started the supplements, I noticed a big difference in how I feel, and I prefer the natural supplements over the medication I received from the doctor. I am more relaxed, less anxious, I don't feel on edge, and I do not get the abnormal throat sensations anymore. There is a long list of improvements. I really feel a lot better, and it has only been 1 month. Thanks, Lori

Can a person be hypothyroid and hyperthyroid at the same time. If so, what are the symptoms? If a person has low adrenal along with hypothyroid what would the symptoms be?

That's a really good question. People can have overactive thyroid glands and still have low body temperatures with symptoms characteristic of low thyroid function. In addition, the same disease process (Hashimoto's thyroiditis) can sometimes lead either to symptoms of hyperthyroidism (due to thyroid hormone being released into the blood stream as thyroid cells are being destroyed) or hypothyroidism (due to decreased thyroid function as thyroid cells are destroyed). Symptoms of adrenal fatigue can include fatigue, lightheadness upon standing, and hypoglycemic symptoms such as shakiness, headaches, or irritability with fasting. The symptoms of low adrenal function and low thyroid function can overlap to a degree. Indeed, it appears that the function of the thyroid system and the adrenal system can have a bearing on the function of one another. Warmly, Denis Wilson, MD

1) Please could you advise on how to clean thermometers so that they are sterile, but without damaging them? 2) Does WT3 therapy worsen excessive sweating or would it help to regulate this problem? Many thanks, Deb, Staffordshire

Manufacturer's Instructions for Cleaning: 1. Clean the glass thermometer before and after use in cool, soapy water. 2. Disinfect with a cotton ball or gauze square saturated with alcohol. 3. If the glass thermometer is broken, the residue may be cleaned with warm, soapy water. Remnants may be disposed of in a normal manner. Excessive sweating can be a symptom of low body temperature. The WT3 protocol can affect body temperature patterns. Therefore, if the WT3 protocol affects the body temperature pattern favorably then excessive sweating can improve. On the other hand, if the WT3 protocol affects the body temperature adversely (particularly if the protocol is not followed correctly) then the excessive sweating could get worse. Hope that helps, Denis Wilson, MD

What source is T3 derived from when used as T3 therapy? Is it from animals or synthetic? Nancy - Michigan

It is not currently possible to isolate pure T3 from animal sources to the exclusion of T4. Therefore, T3 is made synthetically. Denis Wilson, MD
