Success Stories

Last January I had gone on yet another diet/exercise routine and managed to loose 6 lbs, and then five stresses at once sent my weight soaring and energy lagging and me down to utter despair.

I've seen my doctor, had the thyroid tests return normal and had the doctor prescribe anti-depressants because she didn't know what else to do for me.

Last July, in desperation I prayed and began searching the Internet. I found a mention of Wilson's Temperature Syndrome - I typed in the URL and found myself reading about all my symptoms - you described me to a tee!! I also did the symptoms checklist and my score was only 250 with 600 being best!

I took my temp and of course it was low barely 96.6, so I ordered the ThyroCare and Adaptogen. After a month, there was no change, so I went to the closest doctor recommended on your website - an hour away... She talked with me for an hour and a half! I've never had any doctor take time with me like that! She ordered tests and I returned two weeks later for the results and to begin T3.

I started the first cycle of T3 with great hopes, my temp came up just a bit and then fell right back down as I cycled down and I was bone-weary exhausted the whole time! I almost didn't start the second cycle, but my doctor assured me this was the way to do it.

This second cycle my temp got up to 98 before time to cycle down and it's staying there this time. Also the exhaustion isn't there!

Looking back, I've had WTS for many years and my symptoms would get progressively worse with each stress through the years. The stories you read here about one cycle curing all symptoms are wonderful, but I just want to encourage those of you who might need more than one or two cycles to stick with this treatment. I'm feeling progressively better and have high hopes for the future.

Thank you Dr. Wilson for training doctors to treat this and for making your information freely available online! I'm looking forward to reporting complete healing!

I have started T3 medicine and have a great Dr. here and it is currently working for me, at 22.5 my temperature stays up for me, currently. I find a lot of my discomforts from aching to depression are going away and flu like symptoms are going away. I also have had less PMS symptoms, and hot flashes as I am 45 going to be soon 46 and have been starting menopause.

I have been taking ThyroCare, Adaptogen and CardiaCare Plus for exactly four months and MigraCare for about two months. I am under the care of Dr. Max Cotter on your website.

17 years ago I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Over the years I have tried numerous natural medicines, the best of which improved my condition for a few months only.

After learning about WTS I decided to try the natural cures. So far there has been a notable improvement in my energy level. The "good" days are much better than before, and even on bad days I can often "push" myself to do something. Unfortunately, I have not been consistent in taking my temperature; I keep forgetting to take it. When I did take it, it averaged around 97, but in December it had inched up a little bit.

I must say, there is an improvement compared to before. I also feel that I have a clearer head.

Interestingly, it seems I hardly need [an] antidepressant anymore (I was taking it to treat cognitive function problems). I reduced it by 50% already without any side effects.

The MigraCare is great. For the first time in my life I am stopping headaches and even migraines with an herb! It doesn't work every single time, but a lot of times it does.

With kind regards,
Susie W.

Question & Answers

My daughter is 11 years old and has a temperature of 95.3 every morning. Should I be concerned? She is overweight and I am wondering if she has a thyroid problem.
Thanks,
Janis M.

Dear Janis M.,

I don't know that you should be concerned so much as you might have reason to be hopeful. You see, 95.3 is quite a low temperature that could explain many symptoms including fatigue, headaches, depression, irritability, easy weight gain, difficulty in school as well as many others. It's possible that the thermometer you're using is not very accurate. But when people's temperatures are that low and are not feeling well then there's a good possibility they will feel a lot better when their temperatures are normalized.

Low temperatures aren't usually immediatedly dangerous. People can live for decades with low temperatures. And they can also suffer needlessly for decades with unwanted symptoms. Low temperatures can easily lead to lower grades and enthusiasm.

Patients can try the WT3 protocol through a doctor's supervision or they can try WTSmed Supplements such as ThyroCare, Adaptogen, and Healthy Foundation.

Warmly,
Denis Wilson, MD

Can the WT3 protocol work for Auto-immune Low thyroid problems?

Do you mean "work" in terms of correcting the symptoms? Absolutely. In fact the antibody levels often decrease as well. Particularly useful natural support in such a setting is ThyroCare and Healthy Foundation.

Best regards,
Denis Wilson, MD.

I was not able to convince my new HMO Primary Care Physician to try the treatment for Wilson's Syndrome, but my (out-of-pocket) "Thyroid Doctor" went along with it. I'm tapering off my first cycle with mixed results. With my history, I can expect to need at least 3 or 4 cycles to get straightened out, so I'm not discouraged. I've been on progressively higher doses of Armour Thyroid since 1976 - 6 grains for the past few years, but my temp was still low. These last few years, I've had a problem whereby I sweat like crazy at the slightest provocation - talking, typing, driving, etc. I was wondering if it could be that my "sweat thermostat" was set too low, and was preventing me from reaching a normal temperature. The sweating has been even worse on the T3 therapy, and I seem to need a fan blowing on me at all times, even though it feels uncomfortably cold on my damp skin. Sometimes I even sweat and shiver at the same time. My temperature has been fluctuating wildly in a completely random fashion.

So here's my question: Is this a fairly common problem in a case like mine, and will my "sweat thermostat" get reset, along with my metabolism, after a sufficient number of cycles?

Chuck

Dear Chuck,

Although sweating abnormalities are not extremely common manifestations of a low body temperature, I have seen quite a few patients' 'easy sweating' resolve when their body temperatures were normalized. Interestingly, some patients with low body temperatures complain of not sweating at all and report normal sweating when their temperatures are normalized.

Best wishes to you,
Denis Wilson, MD

Is my temperature very low if your hands and feet are cold to the touch? And they stay this way all the time day and night. Deborah W., Tullahoma,TN

Quite possibly but not necessarily. The best way to check is by measuring it with a thermometer.

Good luck,
Denis Wilson, MD
