T3 is most definitely the answer. What has it done for me? The depression lifted and for the first time in years I have been sleepy at night and wake up in the morning. My temp runs normal at times. I am going to order the Doctor's Manual. Finally after all of these miserable years something is really working. I'm surprised and elated. I hear things will even be better. Thanks.
Heather
PS...And I have tried EVERYTHING, too.

Hi from Mexico. I'm on the WT3 protocol with a doctor in Boston. I am already feeling much better and have found the manuals and tapes you sent a tremendous help.

I am starting my treatments this week and am very excited.ᅠ I love your book, Wilson's Temperature Syndrome and everything is so reasonable. The illustrations really paint the picture. I firmly believe that I will be able to help all the men in my family as they have several of the symptoms and have suffered severely.ᅠ An explanation is given for "why", "how", "when", "where", etc. so a person can truly identify when they started feeling out of sorts.ᅠᅠ This comment is for all the men out there!! .... READ this book and see if you fit into this picture.ᅠ

Thankᅠ you very kindly for all of your persistence and research.ᅠ I read portions to my husband each day and he is now taking his temperature and really starting to listen.

Sincerely,
E. W.

Question & Answers

What are specific instructions on taking T3: Am I supposed to take it 30 minutes before eating? I do take it every 12 hours, but my Doc hasn't given me specifics as to food.

Consistency is important in T3 therapy. Therefore, it might be reasonable for patients to take the T3 on empty stomachs each time. However, when that is mentioned to patients they will sometimes not take their medicines on time in order to make sure that they take their medicine on an empty stomach. But the consistency obtained by taking the medicine on time is far more important than the effects of taking it on an empty stomach. Therefore, to limit confusion and to maintain the proper perspective on priority we do not recommend that patients be concerned with how they take the T3 in relation to meals but to be sure to take the medicine as exactly on time as possible.

Warmly,

I have found three thermometers in my cupboard.
I do not remember where they came from.
I am concerned as to how I can sterilize them, so I can use them.
Can you help?

You can wipe them with isopropyl alcohol using a soft cloth or cotton ball and then wipe them dry (and allow any remaining alcohol to evaporate away). It's best not to boil them.

Best wishes,

I have been taking T3 for over a year now. (Since February a year ago). I have had some improvement in symptoms, but nothing, and I mean nothing has brought my temperature to 98.6. I can go all the way to 90 mg. with the T3, but cannot get my temp to average 98.6. Am I just resistant, and wasting my money? Do you think my temp will ever come up? I am about ready to just give up. I am putting on weight with no change in diet, and very resistant to losing weight even with exercise. I'm so frustrated I don't know what to do. I really believed in this program and in your research. Is it possible that it just won't work for me? What should I do next?

Thanks,
Darla S.

Dear Darla,
It sure sounds as if you've made every effort to get your temperature up. Stress and illness and medical problems can result in low temperatures that can persist. Logically, that means such factors might also lead to relapses, or interfere with recovery (you can click here for more explanation).

For example, there have been cases of patients who were not able to get their temperatures up who were found to have high levels of heavy metals in their systems. And after they went through detoxification treatment for heavy metals then their temperatures came up and they felt much better.

This is just one example of how untreated underlying conditions might contribute to patients being resistant to treatment.

Such underlying issues can sometimes be difficult to identify.

It is also true that sometimes patients will experience a breakthrough in their treatment with their temperatures finally coming up after not coming up for a long time. That could mean that their bodies finally responded, or that maybe some other factor was somehow resolved.

Hope that helps,
Denis Wilson, MD
