Dear Sylvia,
I found on our website, in a past Newsletter, a letter from a woman who said she had autoimmune disease and did not tolerate thyroid treatment well. I wonder if that is what you are referring to. People with Hashimoto's thyroiditis can have high ANA's and they can respond well to the WT3 protocol.
Some people with high ANA's don't have symptoms of autoimmune disease, but the higher their ANA titers the greater the chance of them having an autoimmune disease. A variety of autoimmune disorders can lead to elevated ANA titers.
Some people with high T3 levels respond well to the WT3 protocol, that's part of the reason that WTS is
undiagnosable with thyroid blood tests. Depending on the normal ranges of your laboratory, your T4 sounds low. If your TSH is high you may have hypothyroidism which might be due to Hashimoto's thyroiditis which often responds well to the WT3 protocol.
Also there are other options outside of the WT3 protocol to support the thyroid system.
ThyroCare can provide the thyroid gland with nutritional support.
Healthy Foundation supports a wide range of processes in the body including digestive, endocrine, adrenal, circulatory, liver, and nervous function.
Though I can't say what's best for you, your doctor can call 800-420-5801 if he'd like to discuss your case for free with a physician.
Hope that helps,
