There has been a great improvement in my health since I took the supplements. I also did a round of the WT3 protocol and my temperature has been right at 98.6. I have more energy, and have seen improvement in all my symptoms. However, I was concerned that I was not losing any weight. Then, I decided to try eating healthier foods and the weight started coming off. Now, I had dieted before and actually either gained or stayed the same. I know for sure the WT3 jump started my metabolism so I could lose. I have lost 14 lbs in 2 months. I am so thankful that I found Dr. Wilson online, and he led me to Dr. John Filippone in Lubbock, Texas. He has been so helpful. He even called me and advised me during a family crisis. Dr. Filippone follows the protocol to a T which is what I was looking for in a Doctor. He is such a caring, compassionate person. I urge anyone in his area to go to him for a consultation if you think you have WTS. He will help you. Thanks, Judy D.

I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos since 1995 and was put on synthroid. Over the years I became sicker and sicker and finally managed to get my doctor to change me from synthroid to Armour. I found your website by accident. I started 7 months ago with Healthy Foundation, Thyrocare, and Fibrocare. My muscle spasms subsided and my aches and pains became less. Now I [also] take Adaptogen. When I had supper I would become so cold my body would shake. The cold spell after a meal has disappeared. Since I started to use the Adaptogen I lost 2 pounds. Not a lot but for the first time in 10 years I lost some weight. It did not matter what I did, diet, walking every day 6 km (4 miles) nothing helped. Ida

I've been taking ThyroCare and Adaptogen and Healthy Foundation for about a year now. They have made so much difference in my life. I don't have the horrible fatigue and brain fog and cold intolerance. Thank you so much for your supplements. I cannot do without them. Sincerely, Billie L.

Is WT3 suitable for vegetarians/vegans? What about your other products? Thank you, Shirley in Texas

The compounded T3 should be suitable for vegetarians, however, it is made by different pharmacists so it would be good for you to check with each one to see how they make it. We recommend T3 from Medaus Pharmacy. Their phone number is 800-526-9183. All our supplements are suitable for vegetarians with the possible exception of Thyroid Px which contains T2 that is actually extracted from collected duck feathers, of all things. Warmly, Denis Wilson, MD

Have you come across any instances of T3 therapy causing digestive disturbances? I am prone to IBS type problems, sometimes seemingly caused by intolerance to foodstuffs. The effects can take some weeks to build up. I have the subjective impression that T3 therapy may be having a similar effect, but of course it is very difficult to determine. The T3 capsules that I have are compounded by College Pharmacy. Is the compounding agent a possible source of problems? Thanks in advance for any advice that you might be able to offer. Barry C.

I had a patient whose very severe IBS was cured with T3 therapy. However, the sustained release agent in T3 is usually a form of cellulose. Particularly when patients are taking multiple capsules to make up a dose (for example, five 7.5mcg capsules to make up 37.5mcg dose), the amount of cellulose a patient is ingesting can add up. Rarely, patients have experienced diarrhea in such cases. If you are taking just one capsule per dose then you might consider trying T3 from another pharmacy like Medaus Pharmacy to see if you notice a difference (they might use a different agent than College does). Their phone number is 800-526-9183. Best wishes, Denis Wilson, MD

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about eight years ago and have been taking Armour thyroid since. Two years ago I developed facial muscle spasms that my Doctor said was Dystonia. I have been trying to find the cause and was wondering in your opinion could low thyroid be a factor? I have had many ups and downs with the thyroid problem and am still struggling. The last blood test was very low and my Physician wanted me to double up on the medication....the Naturopath doesn't think this is a good idea. I am seeing one of the Dr's that is listed on your website.

Muscle spasms can sometimes get much better with 500 mg of absorbable Magnesium per day by mouth. Or, epsom salt baths daily for 15 minutes, or magnesium injections can be considered. I have seen that abnormal temperatures can contribute to an amazing variety of symptoms. I have not commonly seen spasms to be related but I wouldn't rule out the possibility completely. Nevertheless, if your temperature is remaining low on Armour, I don't think doubling the Armour would necessarily be a good solution. I normally advocate T3 therapy as a means to definitively recalibrate the thyroid system. Cheers, Denis Wilson, MD
