Since I have been taking the [ThyroCare], I notice many of my symptoms have become less intense. My family and colleagues have noticed my irritability has decreased. I no longer have the fatigue and feelings of being cold when everyone else around me is begging to put the air conditioner on.

The ThyroCare is working well so far. I just cut back to 1 daily to see if I can sustain my temperature at around 98.6. I was also on and off of WT3 therapy several times over a 2+ month period but every time I tapered off, my temp. would fall, albeit not as far as previously. I took a beta blocker for palpitations. Now that my body temp. is staying around 98.6 I have stopped taking the beta blockers; its been over a month now with no problems. I also have more energy, and my hair finally stopped falling out. Thank God for your therapy and your list of doctors; my physician wouldn't even consider WT3 therapy. I found a very nice, kind doctor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to prescribe the therapy.
Sincerely,
Kathi

YES!!! There are definite improvements, my boyfriend just commented that I seem more lively and don't seem depressed. I prayed to God to help me find out what was really going on. I would say my prayer was answered in about 1-2 months. I was on levoxyl for 6 mo. and I was getting worse. Though, yes I had all but maybe 9 of those symptoms. I have read 4 books, searched the web for about 4 months when I came across WTS, and I am very grateful to myself for not giving up. Dr Wilson is wonderful for all his dedication and also for not giving up on the patients. Also to Dr. Friedman, those herbs are outstanding. WOW. Thank You both so much.

Sincerely

Question & Answers

My body temperature drops dramatically after I've exercised. Is that because it's going into conservation mode? I'm on my second cycle of WTS meds and supplements, and I've managed to get my body temp to an average (most of the time) of 98.3. I imagine it's going to take at least another cycle to bump that up to 98.6 on average. What if that doesn't work? What's the longest someone has had to be on this program before success? Thanks.

I think of exercise as one thing that can signal the body to come out of conservation mode (although I can imagine that health-threatening amounts of exercise could theoretically lead someone into conservation mode). I also think of conservation mode being a long-term effect that takes a matter of days and weeks, not usually hours.

During exercise, the body normally heats up, and the body begins compensatory cooling mechanisms such as dilated blood vessels on the skin and sweating. It's possible that these cooling mechanisms overshoot the mark sometimes in your case causing a drop in temperature after exercise. Perhaps this effect is more pronounced in your case if you already have difficulty in maintaining a normal temperature.

Also, depending on when you take your temperature, your mouth might be cool from rapid breathing.

Some people that aren't able to get their temperatures to normal with T3 alone are able to when they add ThyroCare or Thyroid Px. I've seen people cycling on the T3 for more than 6 months before it worked, though it usually works much sooner than that and people usually don't stay on it that long if it doesn't.

Best regards,

Is there any relationship between WTS, its related conditions, and the development and continuation of PVC's?

Candy E., RN

Dear Candy,

As you know, PVC's are Pre Ventricular Contractions of the heart. People often describe these as skipped beats or palpitations.

The way the symptoms of WTS have been seen to come on together in a group, and go away with WTS treatment and remain improved after the treatment has been continued. These are the sole criteria that make symptoms of WTS symptoms of WTS.

Some symptoms are more commonly reported by people than others, some only by a few. I don't recall many people saying that their PVC problem came on with stress and went away with normalization of body temperatures.

My sense is that some people have a predisposition to having PVC's that may manifest itself more or less under different conditions. For example, people that experience PVC's before treatment are more likely to experience PVC's during T3 Therapy. I also wouldn't be surprised if various conditions of stress and body temperature make the PVC's more or less prominent in certain people.

Hope that helps,

I have probably been mildly hypothyroid for about 40 years, and hypoadrenal for longer than that. I am working with a doctor now, because I became fully hypothyroid a couple of years ago.

First: The website is absolutely terrific. I went through everything I could read there and got a tremendous amount of knowledge about the treatment protocol. This has definitely helped me in working with my doctor (who is named on your website in the WTS doctor list) and in knowing how to read my body as I go through the process. If I were working on my own, the website would be sufficient for me to run my own program. To put together such a thorough and helpful website is no small task, and I want to compliment you for your accomplishment.

Second, the timer has been extremely helpful in keeping me on schedule. Considering all the various items I take every day and the eight or more alarms I set for various reasons, this is no small task. Without the timer it would be very difficult.

The T3 protocol that I am taking has helped tremendously. I am only a few weeks into my thyroid recovery program and do not know if I will ever regain full thyroid function. Without a doubt, though, the overall program has already done a great deal to give my life back to me, and I hold the possibility of full recovery ever in my mind.

Thank you!

Steve
