Well I can confirm that the thyroid supplements (ThyroCare) are working for me. When I started, my temperature was actually on average 35 degrees, sometimes lower! I was always cold, along with other symptoms.

Now I am pleased to tell you that I am usually 37 degrees! I had to wait for a period of time, whilst my next order came from the States to England, and my temperature did start to drop again, and my sleep was becoming poor too, but now within the last week of taking them my temp is starting to rise and I am sleeping again.

I do hope that other people manage to find your help, you were a Godsend when I thought that there was nothing else I could do.

The products work well for me. I am on ThyroCare, Adaptogen, and Healthy Foundation. I don't know which one helps with the bloating, but I definitely notice when I don't take them. Also, I am not so painfully cold all the time - that was huge. My temperature is now way closer to normal.

I am 46, and I think I developed hypothyroidism when I was 13. It was finally diagnosed when I was almost 21. My prescription never seemed to help with the symptoms but it did put my levels back to normal.

After taking the WTS supplements, I finally feel that my symptoms are dealt with. It has made a big difference in how I feel.

Thanks,
Sarah

I've been on the ThyroCalm product...for a little more than 3 years. And I have noticed that although my TSH value has not changed, the T3's and T4's, both the free and the total, have definitely gone down, some of them right smack in the middle of the normal range. So I've been very pleased about that, and some other measurements too--the anti-thyroid antibodies. They have bounced around some, but are all starting to come down either in the normal range or approaching the normal range, so I've been very satisfied with that. I felt I had to keep myself open to any treatment that did not involve something as irreversible as radioactive iodine, so I really tried to keep an open mind.

Question & Answers

I have been taking ThyroCare since March, and the improvement in my energy level is great. My clinic has told me not to have my daily bowl of porridge, as the oats are damaging to my thyroid. Can this be true? They have also said that taking statins is also damaging my thyroid, and that taking Thyrocare will automatically help my cholesterol levels. After stopping the statins for 3 months my cholesterol levels have gone up from 4.6 to 6.8. Can you give me some advice please.

Many thanks,
Anne

I have not heard that oats are damaging to the thyroid, per se. However, oats contain gluten. Some people are sensitive to gluten and have something called Celiac disease. Some research indicates that people with gluten intolerance can experience a decrease in their thyroid antibodies when they are on a gluten free diet. I have not heard that statins damage the thyroid specifically, but that they can sometimes cause muscle damage and that the risk for muscle damage is higher in people with low thyroid function.

Cholesterol levels often go down when the body temperatures are normalized. People that are unable to normalize their temperatures with ThyroCare alone often benefit from the T3 Therapy as described in the Doctor's Manual. Many people also find Cholesterol Care to be extremely helpful.

Hope that helps,

I have a Dr. that I bought your Cd and Book for and she said she read it... But she was concerned about doubling the T-3 each day etc. so she told me to start off slowly keeping me at 7.5mcg twice daily for weeks and never wanting me to double the dose. Well its obvious that she doesn't understand the WTS therapy. So she put me on ARMOUR 2 grains.( I used to be on Synthroid 0.125 amount for years before that) and my TSH is now supressed to 0.06 with a Free T-4 of 1.0 and a Free T-3 of 4.5 and a T-3 Uptake of 31.7 Now my Dr. wants me to maybe go back to Synthroid or maybe mix the two. My body seems to like T-3. For years I only was getting T-4. Then I read that Armour has a tendency to suppress your TSH level and as long as you're feeling good then not to worry. I have NO symptoms of Hyperthroid and most all symptoms of Low thyroid yet my TSH is Suppressed. Can you shed any light to this???? I would so much appreciate some help. Should I even consider trying the Wilsons Protocol again???? I went thru Medaus Pharmacy like you suggest.
Thanks,
Tracy

I feel a lot more comfortable with suppressed TSH levels when people have normal temperatures and no complaints of hypothyroid symptoms. I feel even more comfortable with suppressed TSH levels when people are on just T3. I feel most uncomfortable with suppressed TSH levels when people are on a lot of T4-containing medicine and they still have low temps and low thyroid symptoms. To me, this is the worst way for thyroid medicine to be managed. I would expect more problems when medicine is managed in the worst way.

I'm more comfortable with T3 because it gives me a feeling the thyroid system is being "cleaned out" and "reset."

I'm less comfortable with T4 because the studies regarding increased osteoporosis in patients on long-term thyroid treatment were done in patients treated in the worst way as described above.

Warmly,

If one's temp is usually 96, then when a fever occurs, would a reading of 99 really be something like 101? (Of course, my doctor tells me that 'normal' temp can vary between 96 & 98).

Yes, if one's temp is usually 96 then I would consider 99 a 3 degree fever.

In fact, one of the purposes of fevers is to help people fight infection. It may be that one of the reasons people with low temperatures sometimes struggle with chronic infections is their inability to mount fevers much over 100 degrees.

Some patients who were believed to suffer from chronic infections and low temperatures have actually been treated with the WT3 protocol...not to the usual 98.6 but even in the 99's. Some of these patients reported feeling much better!

Very interesting, yes?
