I use both the DB Care and the HTN 180 Px. I've been on both of them long enough that they WORK wonderfully. I am not on any prescription drugs for blood pressure or my blood sugar. At my doctor's appointment this month, my blood pressure was - 120/86, maybe 120/96, I don't remember, but it was good! My Hemoglobin A1C went from 7.4 to 6.9, from December to January. The doctor said I went from Good to Excellent with my blood sugars and the hemoglobin test. I take the DB Care three times a day. If I watch my diet with regard to my carbs, I do wonderfully well. Incidently, I also went through the Wilson's Temperature Syndrome protocol for about a year. My temps are normal most of the time, too. I'm a believer!!! Judy W.

I'm having very good results. I'm working with Dr. Julie Claire Holmes, ND, on Maui, HI, and I recommend her very much. I do T3 therapy, and am taking Thyroid Px and Adrenal support. I am feeling very good. My energy has felt a lot more full and stable than when I was on Armour Thyroid. My temperatures have stabilized, from being much up and down at first. I'm close to 98.6 average, now. Be well! Hanna

I've completed one cycle of the T3, and it was a very hard time--sometimes I felt so good, and others I was just miserable. I was up to 67 mcg 2x day and still couldn't get my temps up, and very unsteady, thus the feeling miserable. The doctor in town who originally prescribed the T3 for me had no more knowledge than I, so I made a phone call to a doctor on your list in the Seattle area and did a phone consult with her. She has been wonderful. She told me to go ahead and cycle off and start a new cycle. I did just that and as I got down in the lower dosage range I was doing much better. I had a little anxiety the two days I was off the T3 and then started up this past Sunday. I've stayed at 7.5 mcg 2x day till today, so I held my temps for 4 days...it actually started dropping yesterday but has been really pretty steady, and even the drop was minimal. I have been averaging about 98.5, so I wasn't sure if I should risk going up as that was so close and I was doing well. However, I've increased today as I had that obvious decrease yesterday. Overall, I do feel better. I've started losing weight without doing anything different, and this week when I've added some walking in, I see immediate results. This is SOOO exciting to me! My moods are more even, much to my new husbands delight. :) I sleep better at night and wake up rested and ready to go even during the week when my alarm goes off at 6:15! My husband who is suffering from WTS also is very jealous. We'll be starting him soon. My vision clearing is the very first thing I noticed, and it remains so. I've also noticed that exercise doesn't make my body hurt, and I don't have aches the way I used to...again my hubby is jealous :) Thank you! Stephani Wenatchee, WA

I have tried your Thyrocare and Healthy Foundation...both of which have helped my Mom tremendously! But have not seemed to help me. I am taking 75 g. of Armour Thyroid in the morning. My T4 and TSH numbers are ok, my T3 on the lower side. I have a tremendous amount of daily stress (husband with MS and three children with an immune deficiency disease). I feel like I have leveled out and need to keep upping my Armour... My weight has gone back up, I am tired, and terribly cold all the time and always run a low temp and low blood pressure. I am feeling lost and frustrated. Any wisdom that you can share??

Many people continue to have low temperatures and problems on Armour even though their blood tests are normal. Many people that are under a lot of stress benefit from some adrenal support such as Adaptogen. Some people taking Armour can feel improved when taking ThyroCare and Healthy Foundation, others will not. Those that do not will sometimes benefit from being weaned off their Armour, and cycled on the WT3 protocol. This can have the effect of clearing out and rebooting their thyroid system. You can gain access to the WT3 protocol (the protocol described in the Doctor's Manual) by working with your own doctor or by working with a doctor on our List of WTS Physicians. WTS Physicians can also help you with professional strength thyroid and adrenal support such as Thyroid Px, Adrenal Px Balance, Adrenal Px LoBP, or Adrenal Px DHEA. Hope that helps, Denis Wilson, MD

I recently started taking ThyroCare. Approximately how long will it take for me to know that it is helping me? Thanks

People with moderate fatigue and low body temperatures usually are feeling better within 3 weeks. Benefits can continue to accrue over a period of weeks or even months. Warmly, Denis Wilson, MD

Does having a low body temperature mean one feels hot all the time, or cold all the time? Thank you for your very informative website, by the way!

Some people with low temperatures tend to feel cold, others tend to feel hot. That's why it's important to check with a thermometer. Best Wishes, Denis Wilson, MD
