I'm writing to thank you for the return of my good health! Since I began the WT3 protocol for Wilson's Temperature Syndrome I have felt better than I have for over ten years. After three days on your medication, my daughter said, "Mom, I can't believe it. You even look better." It's been a steady improvement ever since, and after only two months, all those years of ailments, lethargy, depression, bronchitis, and on and on, seem almost like a bad dream. I can actually walk up stairs without having to rest at the top, and I'm using only about a fourth of the bronchial medication. I have also slept better than I have in years. I would be too exhausted, sleep fitfully for one to three hours, then pace for a couple of hours and drag myself out of bed with the alarm. This has not happened once since my first day of the treatment. It's wonderful to wake up rested and looking forward to the new day.

"I need more energy," this is a common request I hear in my practice. The WT3 protocol and herbals have been the answer for many of my patients. I took the WTS training in 2004 and I've been using it ever since on dozens and dozens of patients because it works and because it is so wonderful to watch someone who is so exhausted come back to life. I also love using the WTS supplements, Thyroid Px, ThyroCare, Adrenal Px LOBP and FibroCare, they all work amazingly well for the stressed out and burnt out people in this go-go-go world. I have been on the T-3 protocol for many months. The first month I saw 3 days of 98.6 averages, but have not gotten near that again. My doctor looks at my temperature charts each time, then prescribes more T-3 each time I go. I am happy that my hair is not falling out any longer, but I would really like to see a difference in my temperature. How long do you suggest people try the T-3 when they are not reaching near a 98.6 average? Are there other options?

People that are having trouble getting their temperatures up can often make progress by 1) the WT3 protocol being done correctly 2) adding nutritional support 3) eliminating other problems such as chronic infection or toxic metals. Normally, the WT3 protocol involves going up on the T3 each day if the temperature remains low but it sounds as though your doctor might being waiting from visit to visit before increasing your dose? If you want to see how the protocol is normally administered you can read the Doctor's Manual. Some people that are having trouble getting their temperatures up with T3 alone often notice a benefit by adding nutritional support such as Thyroid Px, and/or ThyroCare. Supplements such as Cardiac Px Capsules and Adrenal Px Balance can help support people taking T3. Some people find they are able to get their temperatures up when other underlying problems have been eliminated. Hope that helps, Denis Wilson, MD

I have papillary thyroid cancer. I have had a complete thyroidectomy in 2 surgeries and subsequent radioiodine ablation. At my first challenge scan, my thyroglobulin levels were at 1, which is considered satisfactory. After my thyroidectomy, supplementation with T4 caused me to have T4 poisoning. My TSH on T4 alone jumped all over the place and never was consistent. I have always had a low body temperature. In June of 2007, I begged my GP to place me on Armour Thyroid, after reading about it. On T4 only, I was so sick that I couldn't even drive. Things got better on Armour Thyroid (my TSH and other thyroid levels completely leveled out in a healthy way), but I never was right and I never got much better. I haven't been able to return to work in over a year and a half. Even my oncologist couldn't understand why I wasn't completely returned to normal and back at work by now. (Note, that I only ever saw my oncologist twice.) I have recently began seeing a doctor that diagnosed me with Wilson's Syndrome and gave me a copy of your book. After reading the book, I returned to my Dr.'s office excited at the prospect of receiving treatment for Wilson's Temperature Syndrome. To my great disappointment, my new GP stated that using the Wilson's Temperature Syndrome protocol of WT3 would not only increase my metabolism, but also the metabolism of my remaining cancer cells and therefore has decided not to give me the treatment. I am devastated because my quality of life is so terrible and unproductive and I was looking forward to getting back to normal. I want to know if the WT3 protocol would significantly augment residual cancer cell metabolism. Best Regards, Mia

That's an excellent question, Mia. The short answer is, I don't know as it hasn't been studied. Nevertheless, let us reason together. Your doctors were expecting you to feel good by now, as if that would be a good thing. You aren't feeling well and perhaps that's a bad thing. Perhaps your body isn't functioning the way it should. If your body isn't functioning correctly, maybe your immune system isn't functioning correctly either. For all we know, your low metabolic state might be favoring residual cancer cell growth. Who knows, maybe a low metabolic state favored the original cancer cell growth in the first place. It makes sense that normalizing your temperature will increase the metabolic rate of your normal cells and of your cancer cells, but that doesn't mean cancer cell growth will be favored, perhaps your immune cells will be favored in the battle against possible remaining cancer cells. Some patients that have been treated with thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer have responded well to the WT3 protocol and I know of no case where cancer recurred. But again, no studies with followup have been done. When people feel bad enough the concern over cancer often becomes more of a moot point. I don't know, but it would seem to me that if people feel well their bodies have more of a fighting chance for optimal health. Good luck with whatever you and your doctors decide, Denis Wilson, MD

I have hypothyroid, nodules and a constant sore throat and aches, flu like symptoms most of the time. My endocrinologist told me he doesn't believe in T3 therapy and is helping me by giving me Armour. I found an alternative Dr. who understands your therapy. I tried the T3 and felt pretty good although I never achieved 98.6. I am a high stress person and after 3 cycles and never achieving results stopped. Its been over 1 year since I last tried. I am feeling frustrated because I thought this was my answer (and maybe it is). I am really tired of always feeling like c''p. And am considering having may thyroid removed. My question is if I go this route, where do the antibodies go that are attacking my thyroid now, if I choose to have it removed? Will it potentially cause more problems in the long run? I have been trying to resolve my thyroid (autoimmune disorder) for years naturally and wish I could find someone around here as knowledgeable as you. Any suggestions? Kim

Dear Kim, The fact that you felt pretty good on the T3 is an encouraging sign that maybe you just needed to work with it a little longer or a little differently to get the result you were after. Keeping glands and body parts always seems favorable unless there is some compelling reason to remove them. Removing your thyroid gland would guarantee your dependence on thyroid medicine for life. And what if you were denied access to the medicine due to a prolonged natural or artificial disaster? I'm sure you've checked our list of WTS Physicians online, for a doctor near you. If there is no doctor close to you, our Patient Guide is intended to help patients find a doctor willing to work with them. Most doctors that are treating Wilson's Temperature Syndrome with the WT3 protocol first heard about it through their patients. The CD is the companion to the Guide, and is perfect for patients to give their doctors to listen to at the doctors' convenience. You can invite a doctor to attend our upcoming conference If your doctor wants to know where to find compounded T3 he can call Medaus Pharmacy in Birmingham, AL. Their number is 800-526-9183. Best wishes, Denis Wilson, MD
