YES!!! There are definite improvements, my boyfriend just commented that I seem more lively and don't seem depressed. I prayed to God to help me find out what was really going on. I would say my prayer was answered in about 1-2 months. I was on levoxyl for 6 mo. and I was getting worse. Though, yes I had all but maybe 9 of those symptoms. I have read 4 books searched the web for about 4 months when I came across WTS and I am very grateful to myself for not giving up. Dr Wilson is wonderful for all his dedication and also for not giving up on the patients. Also to Dr. Friedman, those herbs are outstanding. WOW. Thank You both so much. Sincerely Renee A. California

I have hypothyroidism and suffer from must of the symptoms that are listed. I checked my temperature for 4 days and the average was 97.6. If I do not have a doctor in my area that treats WTS, do you have any other suggestions that I can do? I think I will definitely benefit from the sustained release Thyroid medicine. I've been dealing with these symptoms long enough. Thanks in advance, Dee

Dear Dee, If you do not have a doctor in your area you can introduce WTS to your own doctor using the CD. The Patient Guide explains how to present the CD to your doctor. Your doctor can also call 800-420-5801 for free consultations on the WT3 protocol, the WTSmed Supplements, and using them in your case. You can also consider trying Thyroid Px / ThyroCare which may increase body temperatures, and Adaptogen which provides support for stress, and Healthy Foundation which is a good formula for overall support. If your doctor is interested, we are having our next annual International Restorative Medicine Conference this fall in Stowe, VT. Best Wishes, Denis Wilson, MD

I started on the WT3 therapy last July. It took me til Nov. to capture my temp. I did 3 cycles. I am now on a 7.5 dose of T3 just so some of the symptoms I have had for all of my life might get better. I feel better, but still not peak yet. I have not lost any weight and this I have struggled with all my life. I am dieting and I am not seeing any loss. I am on a moderately low carb diet. I have been doing this for 3 weeks now and no weight loss. Would going on ThyroCare help me at all? I am Irish and American Indian and Scotch decent. So I have had trouble since I was about 13 years old. But I didn't gain weight until I had my first child . Which after that nothing was ever right again. (I have lost enough weight to make 3 or 4 people. But just can't seem to get it off now.) I am 63 almost 64. I have tried all kinds of diets. I thought I would not diet and just see if the treatment would help and it didn't so I started to diet again. I am not going hungry because I don't want to go into starvation mode. Sincerely, Melba S. P.S. I am 5''7" and weigh about 180. I want to weigh about 149. Which I feel is within reason. I really was hoping that the WT3 treatment would help. Also I have had 2 stomach surgerys...the 1st one they took about 2/3 of my stomach, then I had to have a revision 10 years later. I can't hold a whole lot of food . Also my build is like an apple, which I've read means I'm insulin resistant. That's why I chose the low carb diet. Can you give me any pointers?

Yes, Insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia can make it very difficult to lose weight. You may want to discuss the use of Glucose Balance Px with your doctor. Adding the support of Adaptogen can also be helpful because it supports the body in dealing with stress. And your doctor can also call 800-420-5801 for a free consultation on your case and for more ideas. Best regards, Denis Wilson, MD

What effect does marijuana and small amounts of alcohol have in the treatment of Wilson's syndrome? I have been taking T3 for about a month now. I have been experiencing some stress due to my mother's death 5 months ago. I seem to have "setbacks" with the treatment when I have to go to her home for cleaning out. I feel extremely tired and my temp drops. During those stressful times, I also smoke some pot which is relaxing. My doctor does not know. What is your feedback? Thank you, Judi

I feel we are better off avoiding any kind of substance abuse. Sometimes we mistakenly think it will help us, but it is a trap that will hurt us. One could argue that T3 is a substance but T3 is naturally found in the body and it is not addictive. What about pain medicine? Is pain medicine always a bad idea? No, certainly, it can sometimes be a very good idea. Nevertheless, there are many people that are addicted to prescription pain killers to their great detriment. Marijuana and alcohol can influence the WT3 protocol because they can influence body temperature patterns. However, some patients respond well to the WT3 protocol in spite of using small amounts of alcohol from time to time. I don't have any experience with the WT3 protocol in patients using marijuana. Best wishes, Denis Wilson, MD
