HypoglycemiCare
75 Veggie Capsules

Price: $27.00

HypoglycemiCare is especially helpful in correcting the symptoms of hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. Hypoglycemia refers to symptoms that come when blood sugar levels drop too low, and that go away when blood sugar levels are returned to normal (with eating).

Healthy people are able to maintain normal blood sugar levels for long periods of time without eating. On the other hand, people without hypoglycemia that go too long without eating can get the following symptoms of low blood sugar,

  • irritability, or crankiness
  • headaches
  • fatigue, feeling faint
  • jitteriness or shakiness

People with hypoglycemia often find they,

  • need to eat frequent meals
  • crave sweets almost constantly
  • get palpitations when they eat chocolate and/or sugar

HypoglycemiCare often works quite fast. For mild symptoms, people usually notice some effects within a few days, but most will notice sustained reief within 2 weeks. Once the symptoms are gone, we recommend that patients continue the HypoglycemiCare for one or two months before weaning off. Many patients will find that their symptoms remain improved even after they've weaned off. If patients notice that they are not able to wean off the HypoglycemiCare without their symptoms returning, and their temperatures are low, they may be able to overcome their hypoglycemia with the WT3 protocol for WTS.

HypoglycemiCare is considered a tonic, which means that people can keep taking a small daily dose (e.g. a capsule a day) if they want, as a healthy habit. This is an especially good idea for patients who have a family history of Diabetes (HypoglycemiCare may help nip blood sugar problems and serve as a preventative measure).

HypoglycemiCare is aimed at providing support to all the different organs that affect blood sugar, including the adrenals, the liver, and the pancreas. It can be thought of as a "tune-up" for those organs involved in glucose metabolism. The ingredients are considered good for the body and there is nothing toxic in these capsules.

Using HypoglycemiCare

Patients should eat diets that are higher in protein (such as meat, eggs, and fish) and lower in simple carbohydrates (decreasing items such as breads, crackers, potatoes, and sweets).

Regular Dosage: 1 capsule 2 or 3 times per day.

Below are included more uses of HypoglycemiCare.

In Conjunction With WT3 Protocol In Patients With Low Body Temperatures
Starting Dosage
HypoglycemiCare 1 capsule 2-3 times a day

Comments:

  • Many patients with low body temperatures experience symptoms of hypoglycemia. These symptoms often resolve when the patients' temperatures are restored to normal with the WT3 protocol. However, if the WT3 is not enough, adding HypoglycemiCare can often help

Hypoglycemic Symptoms In "Fast-compensators" on WT3
Starting Dosage
HypoglycemiCare up to 2 capsules 5 times a day

Comments:

  • Some patients on the WT3 protocol are what are known as "fast-compensators" to the treatment (this term is explained in the Doctor's Manual). Fast-compensators are more prone to instabilities, including hypoglycemia, while on the treatment. HypoglycemiCare up to 2 capsules 5 times a day can be very helpful in this situation.

General Description
Brackets, [ ] indicate the names of researchers

HypoglycemiCare holistically addresses all of the organs involved in blood sugar balance (including the adrenals, liver, and pancreas), but shifts the emphasis toward adrenal support. Devil's Club (Oplopanax horridum) is an adrenal tonic which has demonstrated a specific positive effect in achieving blood sugar balance [Drum]. Jambul (Syzygium cumini) has been traditionally used in India to control blood sugar levels. While largely used as an anti-spasmodic in the west, Wild Yam (Dioscorea villosa) is used in Chinese medicine to "brighten the eyes" and as a tonic. It also contains diosgenin, a precursor for cortisol, a key constituent in blood sugar balance [Buhner]. Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) prolongs the half life of cortisol, thereby helping maintain consistency of blood glucose levels, and has repeatedly demonstrated anti-stress and fatigue properties [Buhner]. Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) has been in use in China for over 2000 years in the treatment of fatigue, weakness, depression, forgetfulness, and insomnia. It is known in the west for its adrenal and liver tonic properties [Buhner]. Milk Thistle (silybum marianum) is well known as the western herb for liver support par excellence [Buhner].

Actions: Blood Sugar Balancers
Indications: Hypoglycemia, Borderline Diabetes
Specific Indications: Irritable without eating, headaches without eating, fatigue without eating, the need to eat frequent meals, palpitations when eating sugar
Mechnasim of action: Nurturing the organs of blood sugar, the pancreas, liver and mostly adrenal gland.
Dosage: 1-2 caps three times a day
Combination with CardiaCare:
Hypoglycemia with low blood pressure: CardiaCare
Combination with the WT3 protocol: Typically symptoms of hypoglycemia improve after the WT3 protocol due to the increase in thyroid metabolism. However, low adrenal function is still a contributing cause of most hypoglycemics. Taking the HypoglycemiCare helps curb the continuous food cravings, and therefore aids also in weight loss. During compensation times of the WT3 protocol, hypoglycemic symptoms can intensify, supplementation with HypoglycemiCare can decrease the intensity. Many people after taking HypoglycemiCare for three months will notice continued complete resolution of symptoms even after they stop taking it. For many people prone to longstanding hypoglycemia, a maintenance dose might be recommened.
Drug Interactions: The herbs used are blood sugar balancers, so the chance of becoming too low or too high is impossible.
Predictive value: Hypoglycemia is very well treated with herbal medicines. The decrease need to eat as often can be noticed as son as within a few days to a few weeks. Long tem use of product can result in a cure. Some patients might need to take it as short as one month, or continue on it every day. These herbs can be taken long term, and are tonics.
Lab tests: Reactive hypoglycemia does not always show up on lab tests except during the moment of hypoglycemic symptoms. Typically diagnosis is based on symptoms only.
Side Benefits: Some patients have reported increase energy, increased body temperature, and improvements in regulating their menstrual cycles.
Toxicity: None known
