Often, the biggest challenges in accomplishing important tasks
are:
- remembering to do them
- doing them on time
This excellent and discreet timer reduces both of these daunting
challenges to "no-brainers" with one simple step:
- Clip the timer on your belt, purse, clothes, or slip it into
your pocket in the morning.
Then, all you have to do is "obey the timer."
The WT3 protocol is designed to maximize
the benefits and minimize the chance of side effects of T3 therapy.
It works best when it's done properly. It's important for the medicine
to be taken very much on time twice a day, not even 3 minutes late.
This is practically impossible to do easily without a good timer.
A major benefit of this timer is that it can vibrate as well as
beep. That way you'll feel the vibration even in noisy places, and
no one else will hear it when you are in quiet places. That way,
no one will ask you why you're beeping and why you want to be excused
for a minute.
Taking the T3 properly on time can help patients save time, money,
aggravation, and disappointment. If the treatment is not done correctly,
it may
- not work as well
- increase the chance of side effects
- extend the length of treatment by weeks and consequently increase
the number of doctor visits needed and the amount of medicine
to be purchased.
The timer is also handy as a reminder for
- exercise
- dietary supplements
- regular daily appointments (such as when to go or return from
lunch, pick up the children, chores, study, whatever)
It can even help establish new habits. For example, if you want
to try to remember to be more thoughtful of another person or persons,
you can set the timer to vibrate every so often throughout the day
to try and help you establish new patterns of thought.
A great feature of this timer is that you can set up to 12 different
alarms / vibrations to go off at the same time each day without
having to be reset. Thus, if you set alarms to go off at 8am, 11am,
2pm, 5pm, and 8pm, then they'll go off at those same times every
day. This is ideal for the WT3 protocol which requires that the
medicine be taken twice a day, every day, at the same times, 12
hours apart, and which requires the temperature to be measured up
to 3 times a day.
A recent email put it this way:
Subject: Help with the 3 hour [taking
temperatures] and 12 hour timing [taking medicine doses].
Hello: I am looking for some encouragement.
I would be grateful to hear from someone who... overcame the difficulty
of forgetting to take her temps and thyroid medication on time.
I am having great difficulty in just remembering three days in
a row to do the temps, and am afraid to start the T3 ...
Thanks, Joyce
This is definitely a wonderful solution for the WT3 protocol. Even
so, that only takes up 5 alarms which leaves 7 alarms for other
purposes.
When the treatment is finished you'll still have a great timer
that is very useful for all kinds of purposes. It has a stopwatch,
countdown timer, and even has a meeting timer. Let's say you have
work to with a client, give a speech, or do some other activity
for a certain period of time (like exercise). When you set the meeting
timer, it will go off when 50% of the time is up, and it will go
off again 5 minutes before it's over. For example, if you set it
for an hour, it will vibrate or beep after 30 minutes and again
after 55 minutes.
It also runs for months on an ordinary AAA battery, so you won't
have to hunt for obscure round batteries at the stores when it's
time for the battery to be replaced.
