Background Information
Cardiac Px Titrate contains both fast-acting and slow-acting herbs. People may notice an effect right away (15 minutes - 30 minutes) in easing symptoms like palpitations and jitteriness. But they may also benefit from long-term effects in the actual function of the heart, which might be confirmed by an echocardiogram. There won't be a difference in the echocardiogram in one day, but there may be a difference in two months.*
Cardiac Px Titrate consists of a potent liquid extract of the four primary botanical cardiovascular tonics of western herbalism. Lilly of the Valley (Convallaria majalis) is indicated for use in mitral insufficiency, feeble circulation, chronic heart problems, swollen ankles due to heart problems, irregular heart rhythm, and shortness of breath. It is considered to provide many of the benefits of digitalis without the side-effects (Felter). Hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha) is considered as one of the best remedies for the heart and circulatory systems (Hoffman). Night Blooming Cactus (Selenicereus grandiflorus) may increase the strength of contractions and slow the rate of the heartbeat (Chevallier), and is used to calm heart palpitations from nervousness (Hoffman). Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) has demonstrated the ability to decrease rapid heart rate while improving cardiac efficiency. It may also reduces anxiousness and nervous tension (Duke).*
Cardiac Px Titrate with WT3 Protocol
Cardiac Px Titrate appears to be very helpful in a variety of heart irregularities, and is especially suited for those people on the WT3 protocol. For instance, Cardiac Px Titrate has shown an ability to quickly calm an increased pulse rate and/or palpitations which may occasionally accompany the WT3 protocol. It may also calm a nervous and anxious mood that can sometimes be caused by the WT3 protocol. Wilson's T3 protocol involves the use of T3, a potent thyroid hormone, but most people tolerate the WT3 protocol quite well. There is a chance, however, of cardiovascular irregularities such as increased heart rate, increased awareness of the heart beat, and palpitations.*
If people do experience any cardiovascular irregularities on the WT3 protocol there are a few measures that can be taken which are explained more thoroughly in the Doctor's Manual for Wilson's Temperature Syndrome (which thoroughly explains the WT3 protocol). They include,
- adjust the T3 dosage*
- ensure that the T3 is taken exactly on time*
- take a T4-test dose (involves using a weaker thyroid hormone called T4 to reduce the effects of T3)*
But sometimes these measures are not enough. A few people still don't tolerate the WT3 protocol very well. Many of these people have reported that Cardiac Px Titrate has helped them tolerate the WT3 protocol extremely well when they couldn't tolerate it well without Cardiac Px Titrate. If people on WT3 protocol start having heart palpitations they can immediately take a dose of Cardiac Px Titrate and they will usually notice that they feel calmer within half an hour (we also recommend a T4-test dose to stabilize the T3 levels). If people start having cardiovascular complaints and call their doctors, their doctors can always advise them to try taking some Cardiac Px Titrate first , and that usually takes care of the complaints. We recommend that all people on the WT3 protocol, also take a little Cardiac Px Titrate twice a day in an effort avoid cardiovascular irregularities in the first place. It's very comforting for people to know that they have something in hand that their doctor can direct them to try if they start having any heart complaints (for example, in the middle of the night). Always contact your physician if you notice any heart symptoms.*
General Tune Up For The Heart
Cardiac Px Titrate is not a treatment for cardiac complaints. It is a collection of herbs that according to traditional herbalism has restorative effects on the function of the heart itself. This is fundamentally different from the effects of most heart drugs and helps explain how Cardiac Px Titrate may be supportive to people with low heart rates as well as people with high heart rates.
Cardiac Px Titrate may be supportive to people with irregular heart rhythm, chronic heart failure, bundle branch block, ekg abnormalities, fast heart rate, slow heart rate, a history of heart problems. It may also be helpful in people who are having heart complaints due to hyper-functioning of the thyroid gland*.
What to Expect
Most people who benefit from Cardiac Px Titrate definitely won't need to take it for life, some may only need it very infrequently.*
Potential Irregularities
C
ardiac Px Titrate is intended to provide nutritional substances and adaptive stimulation effects for the heart. In a sense, it can be considered a tonic for the heart. Some people might want to take a 1/3 to 1/2 tsp of Cardiac Px Titrate twice a day for life (for example, as a tonic in people with a family history of heart problems). There doesn't seem to be any harm in staying on it. Taking Cardiac Px Titrate can be thought of as a healthy habit like swimming every day to keep one's body healthy.*
Dosage Information
Cardiac Px Titrate is normally very well tolerated, but it's important not to exceed three teaspoons a day (taken in no less than three divided doses) without your doctor's recommendation. The Lily of the Valley in the product is a potent herb. Theoretically, a person who takes too much could get an irregular heart beat, or aggravate an abnormal heart rhythm. Whereas, it appears Cardiac Px Titrate can be quite helpful in the recommended dosages, it could be detrimental to the heart if taken in excessive doses. This is why this product is only available through physicians and must be taken as directed
.
In general, it often takes time to correct severe health problems. Occasionally some people's complaints can get a little worse on Cardiac Px Titrate before getting better. Sometimes, increasing the dose and waiting another week or two will help the patient start feeling better. This is another reason the supervision of a physician is helpful and recommended when taking Cardiac Px Titrate. They can monitor your tolerance and progress and decide whether you should increase the dose and give it time, or stop taking it.*
The dosage for Cardiac Px Titrate ranges from about 20 drops to one teaspoon two or three times a day. The lowest dose should be 20 drops twice a day, and the highest dose should be 1 teaspoon three times a day. In general, people can start at a certain dose, depending on the severity of the condition, and then increase the dose if necessary. Though most people will get good results with 20 drops 2 or 3 times a day, people can take up to 1 teaspoon 2 or 3 times a day (in divided doses), if necessary.

Cardiac Px Titrate contains grain alcohol as an extracting agent (which extracts natural compounds from the herbs). The doses of Cardiac Px Titrate can be mixed with a little water to make it easier to swallow. Here's a tip for people who don't like the idea of ingesting the alcohol, you can swish the Cardiac Px Titrate around in your mouth to warm it, and then exhale air over it, out of your mouth. Some of the alcohol will evaporate that way. If you do that several times, it will reduce the amount of alcohol you consume.
Below are a variety of examples of how Cardiac Px Titrate can be used.
To reduce the chances of Cardiovascular Irregularities in People doing the WT3 protocol
Though many people don't experience cardiac irregularities with WT3 protocol, we're pleased to be able to offer a product to those that do. Therefore, we recommend that every person taking the WT3 protocol be given the T3, T4 for test doses, and Cardiac Px Titrate to take home. The Cardiac Px Titrate may reduce the chances of irregularities and if people do have any irregularities they can take a T4 test dose and some extra Cardiac Px Titrate (under the supervision of a their physician).

After someone has gone through the WT3 protocol with Cardiac Px Titrate what is the wean off procedure for Cardiac Px Titrate?
If they have no heart complaints and no heart irregularities, they can just discontinue. They don't have to gradually lower the dose every day, they can just stop it without a problem.

To Enable People With Cardiac Risk To Qualify For WT3 protocol
Some people who want to do the WT3 protocol have abnormal EKG's, fast heart rates, or a family or personal history of heart problems, BEFORE starting the WT3 protocol. WT3 might not be advisable for these people until their heart complaints are normalized.
Many people have been able to take Cardiac Px Titrate to the point that their EKG's become more normal and/or their pulse rates go below 100, enabling them to take the WT3 protocol. For example, two people wanted WT3 protocol but their resting heart rates were around 103. Those people took half of a teaspoon of Cardiac Px Titrate three times a day (90 drops/day) and their pulse rates went down to about 80 or 70 within three or four days and stayed there continuously while they did the WTS protocol.*
Below are some heart problems that may show improvement with Cardiac Px Titrate to the point that people can begin the WT3 protocol. Of course, Cardiac Px Titrate may be useful in these conditions even if the people aren't going to do the WT3 protocol.*

Chronic Heart Failure or Chronic Chest Discomfort due to heart problems
After an episode of CHF many people can have fluid retention all over their bodies. When the CHF is really severe sometimes that swelling never totally goes away. The fluid may go back into the tissues within 2 weeks just by giving these herbs.
Irregular Heart Rhythm
With Cardiac Px Titrate added to the protocol some people with irregular rhythms have comfortably managed theWT3 protocol. One patient, finishing her fourth month of the WT3 protocol, had fewer episodes of irregular rhythm than before she started the WT3 protocol and Cardiac Px Titrate. If doctors choose to manage people with irregular heart rhythm, it should be done very carefully (it might be wise not to go higher than about 45 to 52.5mcg of T3 per cycle). Cardiac Px Titrate can be given for one or two weeks before the WT3 protocol is started. It is recommended patients see their treating physician once a week to monitor progress. As sometimes occurs with the Restorative Medicine approach, a person's irregular rhythm could get a little worse before getting better, so it's important to be careful.*
